"Women's Wellness Action from Shibuya (commonly known as WWAs)" aims to create a "society where women can live as themselves" by sending messages from Shibuya to the world to solve women's mental and physical health issues and improve wellness.On Tuesday, December 12th, together with the Japan Femtech Association, we held a study session for companies and supporters titled ``What is Femtech? - Why companies need women's problem-solving perspectives now.''

This was the first study session held by Women's Wellness Action from Shibuya.This time, we will talk about the basic knowledge of "Femtech", which has been heard more and more recently, as well as the loss that women's health issues have on society and companies and the importance of solving these issues. We heard from Ms. Naoko Yamada of We provided an opportunity for companies and supporters to once again face Japan's current situation regarding women's health issues, and to think about how to approach "femtech" as a solution.

It was an opportunity for the lecture participants to gain a strong awareness of the necessity of femtech in Japanese society and businesses, as well as the potential of femtech, along with actual data and figures.

In the second half of the lecture, participants took on the ``Japan Femtech Association Certification'' test conducted by the Japan Femtech Association. At the end, all participants did some networking. Companies, organizations, and individuals with a strong interest in solving women's health issues and femtech connected, and by sharing their sense of challenges and exchanging opinions, new encounters and insights were born.

This was the first study session for Women's Wellness Action from Shibuya, which had previously held mainly networking and discussion events. In addition to gaining useful knowledge and information, it was an opportunity for everyone to reconsider their own mental and physical health, and to consider new awareness and actions.
