Collaboration with Adastria and Shibuya Ward official souvenir. The illustration is 365 Bunnoichi & Ryo Kinyasu's "A DAY IN THE LIFE SHIBUYA"

Press release
SHIBUKURO

Adastria Co., Ltd. collaborated to produce a T-shirt and tote bag (SHIBUKURO) in the Shibuya Ward official souvenir business "SHIBUKURO" project jointly conducted by Future Design Shibuya Co., Ltd. and Dai Nippon Printing Co., Ltd.

From September 3, 2020, it will be sold at the SHIBUKURO online store and the convenience store in the Shibuya Ward Government building.

In the future, it will appear as a return item for Shibuya Ward's hometown tax payment as a representative item of the region.

The illustrations on the product are cut out from the work drawn in the "Meiji-dori Temporary Enclosure Art Project (planned and produced by the specified non-profit corporation 365 Bunnoichi)" in 2018 during the renewal work of Miyashita Park in Shibuya Ward. It is a thing.

"A DAY IN THE LIFE SHIBUYA" depicts how various people come and go in various spots in the city of Shibuya. Ryo Kinyasu, one of the most notable artists at the moment, created the original drawing for this work, which is full of Shibuya-ness, which is characterized by diversity and inclusion.

Many students also participated, and the 200m public art that they drew together attracted a lot of attention, and as the days went by, it became a new landscape of Shibuya. With the completion of the new Miyashita Park, which opened on July 28, 2020, such works will be removed with regret. I went to collaborate with Shibuya Ward official souvenir because I wanted to breathe new life into this work that breathed in the city of Shibuya and leave it as a form.

Part of the sales of this T-shirt and tote bag (SHIBUKURO), which will be sold as one of the Shibuya Ward official souvenir business lineup, will be returned to Shibuya's problem solving and community development through the "SHIBUKURO" project. At the same time as transmitting the uniqueness of Shibuya through illustrations depicting the cityscape of Shibuya, having this item will contribute to fostering a desire to participate in Shibuya's town development.

Ken Hasebe Message from the Mayor of Shibuya

The project "SHIBUKURO" not only produces souvenirs as an official souvenir of the new ward, but also the people who bought it as souvenirs, not only the goods but also the profits are returned to the town development. I think it includes not only having things related to Shibuya, but also having the experience of contributing to society that will lead to the future of Shibuya.
I am very happy that Adastria, who is also an S-SAP company in Shibuya Ward, participates in the project like this time, and we will continue to collaborate with various companies and "SHIBUKURO" will be a new form. I hope that many people will pay attention to it as a souvenir and grow up.
