Future Design Shibuya (hereinafter referred to as Future Design Shibuya) held a workshop for children on April 29 (Monday / holiday), just before Children's Day, to "flow carp streamers in the Shibuya River". Families and young people participated to create carp streamers with their own pictures and patterns, and about 100 colorful carp streamers fluttered along the Shibuya River.
This was carried out as part of the social experiment project "WORK PARK PACK" that utilizes the Shibuya Riverside waterside space "Shibuya River Street", an initiative aimed at rebuilding public spaces by Future Design Shibuya. .. When we solicited ideas for utilization in March, about 300 ideas were gathered, and there were multiple voices saying that they wanted to make carp streamers and decorate carp streamers, so this workshop was held.
The carp streamers will be displayed until May 7th (Tuesday), so if you come to Shibuya during Golden Week, be sure to visit Shibuya River Street.
