This time, at the social innovation festival "SOCIAL INNOVATION WEEK" (SIW) held for one week from November 6th to 13th, we will be hosting "X PARK BY JOYSOUND" where you can enjoy an advanced karaoke experience. We spoke to Mr. Yamada of Xing Co., Ltd., which set up an exhibition booth for ``

Takagi: What kind of service is “X PARK”?
Yamada: Traditionally, karaoke was enjoyed by everyone gathering in a karaoke box and singing individually, but the new entertainment platform ``X PARK'' installed in the latest model ``JOYSOUND X1'' utilizes two-way communication. By connecting separate karaoke rooms, you can now enjoy your time as if you were in the same space. By connecting karaoke spaces online, rather than just one private room, we aim to innovate the ``experience'' itself in the karaoke space.
Takagi: You have the image of karaoke rooms spreading all over the world. Among them, I was really interested in the "rental moderator" function...
Yamada "Rental Emcee" is a service where an animated avatar serves as the emcee. The avatar host connected online will be displayed on the karaoke screen, and will not only lead the meeting, but also liven up the occasion with quick quizzes and other activities.
Takagi looks like he's having fun. What made you decide to introduce it at SIW this time?
YamadaFirst of all, "X PARK" aims to connect spaces and people and provide new value in karaoke that goes beyond "singing", and says that he would like to co-create with various companies. I have a feeling. I would like people to think freely about how to combine a space with karaoke using "X PARK".Is there any company that wants to develop a new business, or do you have any ideas for using "X PARK"? I decided to participate in the hope that I could exchange opinions with you all. We also received opinions from students visiting SIW and posted them on the cork board inside the booth.
Takagi: Did you notice anything new or discover anything after actually participating in SIW?
Yamada: There are many new discoveries. We hope to continue to evolve the "X PARK" platform through co-creation that is not bound by the framework of music.
Listening to Ima Takagi 's story, I realized that I still don't know how to have fun other than singing at karaoke. Mr. Yamada, what are some other ways to use karaoke other than singing?
Yamada: Isn't it tiring to sing at karaoke all the time? That's when I watch videos. JOYSOUND offers a service called ``Miruhako'' where you can enjoy a variety of videos such as live music, anime, movies, and comedy. The content varies depending on the time of year, but we also stream live viewings of artists, so you can watch those videos, sing again if you feel like singing, and have fun in a variety of ways. When you think of live viewing, you may think of it as being held at a movie theater, but at a karaoke room, you can enjoy the powerful sound and images while enjoying food and drinks with just your friends. Yamada: In addition to this, X PARK also has a service called ``Everyone's offline meeting.'' Not only can you get together with people who live nearby, but you can also connect with your best friends who live far away and don't usually get to meet up through the karaoke room. By doing so, I believe we can easily expand the circle of Oshikatsu throughout the country.
TakagiIt means that people who have been connected through SNS etc. can have fun together at a karaoke room close to them even if they live far away.
In addition to Yamada, we are also planning to hold fan meetings that you can easily attend at karaoke rooms across the country. Normally, fans would gather at one venue, but by using "X PARK" to connect karaoke rooms online, it will be possible to participate from a karaoke room close to you, no matter where you are in the country. What's more, it's not just a one-way conversation from the artist, but you can also make your own comments, so you might even have the opportunity to have a conversation with an artist you admire.

Yamada: I would love for people to use karaoke as an active space. It's cheaper than renting a space, and there's food and drinks available.
