In line with Shibuya Ward's declaration of zero nuisance drinking on the streets, we have launched the Shibuya Good Manners Project, which aims to become a safe, secure and internationally mature city.
As the first step in our activities, we worked with partner companies to pick up trash in Shibuya Center Gai on October 30th (Monday) after the Halloween weekend, and in the early morning hours of November 1st (Wednesday) the day after Halloween. Ta. On October 30th, Daisuke Suzuki, executive director of the Shibuya Center Shopping District Promotion Association, spoke at the beginning of the event about the current garbage issues in Center Gai.
From now on, the Shibuya Good Manners Project plans to carry out trash pickup activities once or twice a month.
