Report

The street sports project ``Next Generations'', which aims to promote street sports and educate people on improving manners, is a street sports project in which young people can actively participate. It has been held continuously since 2018 and is aimed at U-15 (junior high school students and below). The street sports competition "Next Generations Games 2023" was held at Yoyogi Park Keyaki Namiki on Saturday, September 2nd, and the highlight video was released.

The event, which was held for the sixth consecutive year, opened with sunny skies, although the weather was still hot as summer, even though it was September. On a special stage set up along a row of zelkova trees with a pleasant shade and a pleasant breeze, the approximately 120 athletes who entered the event showed off their individual styles and performances.

This event is ``TOKYO Moshi FES Shibuya 2023'', which is sponsored by Future Design Shibuya which is in charge of this event, Kokumin Kyosai Coop (Zenrosai) (National Federation of Workers' Mutual Aid Consumers' Cooperatives), and Shibuya City Tourism Association. Held in collaboration with ”. The first day of the competition, the 2nd (Saturday), will feature four competitions: breaking, double dutch, and hip hop, including the new freestyle football event. The following day, the 3rd (Sunday), we will hold workshops, experience sessions, and as a collaboration project with "TOKYO Moshi FES Shibuya 2023", we will form a performance team centered on athletes who were active in the competition the previous day. They performed a special performance on the main stage. Approximately 22,105 people visited ``TOKYO Moshi FES Shibuya 2023'' (according to the organizer's announcement), and as ``Next Generations,'' many people were exposed to street sports, and the next generation of U-15s who are enthusiastic about street sports. We were able to create an opportunity for people to support the athletes.

I think we were able to express the potential of the street sports scene, which is expanding not only with U-15 athletes but also with the audience and friends who support the scene. In addition, at the end of September, highlight content looking back on this event with the MCs and judges will be distributed on the Next Generations YouTube channel.
I think we were able to express the potential of the street sports scene, which is expanding not only with U-15 athletes but also with the audience and friends who support the scene. Please keep an eye on "Next Generations" as we continue to engage in various activities.
