Afterwards, a talk session was held with FDS Future Designers Natsuo Sato, Yasuhiko Nomura, and Seiichi Saito, facilitated by General Producer Kanayama. Here we report the pattern in detail.

<On stage>
Natsuo Sato (EVERY DAY IS THE DAY Creative Director)
Yasuhiko Nomura (Representative Director of Slow Innovation Co., Ltd.)
Seiichi Saito (President of Panoramatics)
Jungo Kanayama (Future Design Shibuya General Producer)

In the talk session, the three Future Designers first talked about their expectations for FDS.

Mr. Saito said about the goodness of FDS, "In addition to culture, policy and action, it is characterized by the fact that it incorporates elements of the street. The presence or absence of this element can greatly change the atmosphere of the city." rice field.

"FDS's efforts are being made from a perspective different from that of the government. New ideas are born precisely because there is a 'street' perspective." (Mr. Saito)

In addition, he says, "I expect that various ideas and know-how born in Shibuya will be shared not only in Tokyo but also in various regions."

Mr. Nomura sympathized with this, saying, ``When FDS was launched, I think there were some parts that companies didn't know how to get involved with FDS. While saying that ``is being born one after another,'' he said that if Shibuya became more active, efforts in other areas would be more fulfilling.

In addition, considering that the number of people living in two bases is increasing these days, every region is focusing on increasing the related population, Mr. Nomura used to include visitors to Shibuya. I proposed that "Shibuya people" may be understood more globally and broadly.

"For example, using the electronic citizenship system, people who live far away can actively participate in the development of Shibuya from the idea stage, and when it is implemented, they can create a system that will make them really come to Shibuya. We should be able to empower the people who make them.” (Mr. Nomura)

Various ideas will spread beyond the framework of Shibuya Ward, and at the same time, various ideas will enter Shibuya from outside the framework of Shibuya Ward and be implemented, resulting in richer innovation. It may be.

Looking back on the time when FDS was first established, Mr. Sato also said, "There were parts where I didn't know how to act." "I've come to understand how to work," he says.

“Over the past five years, while participating in FDS activities and SOCIAL INNOVATION WEEK (SIW), I think I have become able to commit to something based on my own interests and creativity. The difference between the economic model of the 20th century and the co-creative society of the future.I was able to experience it while learning about the work style of the next generation. This work style has no right answer, no boss, no mission.Participation I hope that you will continue to join the movement of the era of co-creation society, where only those who work can gain something.” (Mr. Sato)

In addition, Kanayama cited "Shibuya 5G Entertainment" as an example of what he thinks is good about starting FDS, saying, "This project started with a talk session at SIW and was launched during the process of creating a consortium. This is the ideal way to launch a project for FDS."

"If you don't know when to start talking to whom, I would like you to target SIW. It would be great if you could make good use of FDS and SIW, where people with various backgrounds gather. When you talk about your dream of doing something, you gradually become a party to it.For example, it is powerful to have discussions with Shibuya Ward. It should be a material for persuasion within the company. It would be great if you could associate with us as such an action tank." (Kanayama)

The four also exchanged opinions on the new culture that they would like to see born in Shibuya.

Mr. Saito said that culture is not something that can be created with the intention of creating it, but that "in order to create culture, a city with a high level of energy is necessary." He added, "Culture is not something that is created in one place alone. It is necessary to form partnerships with other local governments, companies, and organizations, build relationships remotely, and work together with co-creative passion." I was.

Mr. Nomura said, ``If you think about creating culture actively, I want to create a new culture in line with 'Shibuya City, a city that transforms differences into power. He said that culture is born. He said that while Shibuya Ward is focusing on children, the next step is to create pet and animal rights, which could create a new culture of rights.

In response, Mr. Sato said, ``In the co-creation era, only people who are committed to the city can create the city, but Shibuya has many people who are committed to it, such as FDS and Future Designers. , it is easy to create culture,” he said. Regarding "new culture," he pointed out that there is actually a large distance between "new things" and "culture," and said, "What remains of the new becomes real culture." rice field.

At the end, Mr. Saito said, "Committing to the city and moving with enthusiasm is the key to urban development," and Mr. Nomura said, "I want people to use FDS as a place where they can realize what they want to do." I sent a message to all FDS member companies. Mr. Sato also emphasized that "FDS is a place of co-creation society that is different from a normal company organization, and it is important to commit and participate."
Kanayama said, "At FDS, we welcome people from various departments of the company. FDS has people with many competencies, including Future Designers. I want to work on various things in the future,” and closed the talk session.

After that, Shibuya Ward Mayor Hasebe took the stage and explained the outline of Shibuya Ward's initial budget proposal for fiscal 2023.

Then, a talk session was held with Shibuya Ward Deputy CIO Sawada and FDS Representative Director Koizumi.

Mr. Takayoshi Nagasawa, managing director of Seibu Shinkin Bank, who serves as a director of FDS, gave a greeting, and the first part ended.
