Future Design Shibuya (Representative Director: Hideki Koizumi, hereafter FDS) is a street sports project "NEXT GENERATIONS" in which young people including Shibuya residents can actively participate for the purpose of promoting street sports and enlightening the improvement of manners. We will launch it together with companies and organizations related to Shibuya.
As the first project, the street sports competition "NEXT GENERATIONS powered by G-SHOCK-Update the street!-" Under 15 years old will be held on Saturday, December 1st at Shibuya Stream Inaribashi Square and Kinohashi Square. It will be held for the first time.
A 15-year-old selected from all over Japan for three sports, including skateboarding, which is attracting attention as a sport born from street culture, breakdancing officially adopted for youth Olympic games, and BMX Flatland, which allows you to freely manipulate BMX. The following 8 people will gather and compete for the top. In addition, as an exhibition match, we will hold a workshop where you can experience high-level games and competitions of 3x3 (three-player basketball) by top Japanese players. As a demonstration, the world's strongest professional skateboarder Yuto Horigome, who is currently winning the world war for the third time in a row, and the Youth Olympics breakdance women's division gold medalist Ramu Kawai (BGIRL RAM) will perform a dance. It is an event to experience and share the excitement.
