As part of the Shibuya Good Manner Project to make Shibuya a safe and secure city, we will be launching the Shibuya Good Manner Challenge feat. Fortnite on November 1st, which we have jointly launched with transcosmos Inc. and EbuAction Inc. to raise awareness of social issues such as nuisance drinking on the streets and littering. We have released "SHIBUYA CITY BOSS FIGHT" on the metaverse Fortnite, a game popular among young people and overseas users. The game also features "JK Zombie," a global IP from Shibuya planned and produced by TWIN PLANET Inc.
Project Background
In Shibuya Ward, nuisance behaviors such as drinking and smoking on the street and littering have become social problems. The Shibuya Good Manners Project, launched by Future Design Shibuya last September, is working with various stakeholders to solve these problems. This time, the project aims to promote awareness of manners and change of attitude towards the city through a game project using Fortnite, targeting young people and foreign visitors to Japan, while having fun.

We are looking for creative, Fortnite-like games that incorporate awareness-raising elements to solve Shibuya's problems, such as smoking and drinking on the streets and littering, set in the streets of Shibuya. Applicants or teams including applicants can participate in solving social issues in Shibuya!

Theme: A creative game with a Fortnite feel, set in the city of Shibuya, using the "FORTNITE Creative Mode" and "Unreal Editor For Fortnite (UEFN)" and incorporating elements that solve social issues in Shibuya. We welcome creators to submit games created with their own original ideas.

To commemorate the start of the new online activity "SHIBUYA Good Manner Challenge feat. Fortnite" born from the "Shibuya Good Manners Project", a talk session will be held with the people involved. From the recent state of Shibuya, we will talk about the background and appeal of this game project created with Gen Z, as well as the collaboration with Shibuya's global IP "JK Zombie" and FC Tokyo. While experiencing actual gameplay, we will share our vision for the future of solving social issues and think together about the future of Shibuya.
