The 19th Shibuya Music Festival 2024 ~Shibuya Music Scramble~, co-hosted by our company, was held for two days on Saturday, October 19th and Sunday, October 20th, 2024.
This year's event was linked to the broader concept of "music" and included many categories that have made up Shibuya's culture, such as "sports," "dance," "radio," "fashion," and "latest technology," to promote a new Shibuya culture that evolved for the modern era, and was attended by approximately 20,000 people over the two days. The event began on the 20th (Sunday) in a traffic-restricted area with an opening announcement by Executive Committee Chairman Onishi, and each stage was a huge success.
■Special stage in front of SHIBUYA109 "SHIBUYA PLAYGROUND"
Following on from last year, the Shibuya Music Festival also held a street sports x music event as a part of Shibuya's sports tourism creation program. This summer, top athletes including B-Girl Ami (Yuasa Ami), a gold medalist at the Paris Olympics, gathered on the streets of Shibuya for a cypher that anyone could participate in, and guest showcases by Red Bull Street Jam, 0477 Academy (MAJOLICA MAJORCA×DANCER), and O-MENZ livened up the venue.

■Dougenzaka Block Party
A music festival "created by everyone" in the town. The Shibuya Dogenzaka Youth Association held the "Dougenzaka Block Party", a music event in which locals can participate, as a musical content produced by locals. The event was livened up by a spectacular stage performance by DJ MOCHIZUKI (in the mix) and tap dancers SARO and COCO.
■Shibuya Zunchaka
Based on the concept of "a town music festival created by everyone," the event was livened up by artists who were selected through public auditions and unique street musicians on two stages: the "Downtown Stage - Car Stage" and the "Dogenzaka Street Musician Liberation Zone."
■ Shibuya Fashion Week 2024 Autumn "SHIBUYA RUNWAY"
This year marks the 22nd Shibuya Fashion Week. Based on the concept of this year's event, "DIVERSE SUSTAINABILITY," a street runway show, "SHIBUYA RUNWAY," was held on Shibuya Bunkamura Street.
"THE INCUBATION" is an incubation project in which students who will be the next generation of fashion designers remake Tokyu Corporation's uniforms, which will be retired on October 31st.
Additionally, "THE VINTAGE" featured a vintage-themed stage show, showcasing the possibilities of fashion from various angles.
■Shibuya Music Festival 2024×AIR RACE X~Music and Sports Festival~
The "AIR RACE X 2024 SHIBUYA Digital Round" hosted by hyper-dimensional motorsports AIR RACE X, along with live music and the popular anime "Night Jellyfish Can't Swim," which is set in Shibuya, held a music and sports festival at Shibuya Ward Miyashita Park on Saturday, October 19th.
The event started with a live performance of "AND CaaaLL" under the blazing sun, and then moved on to energetic performances of "Kimi to Miru Sora" and "ANGEL NOISE", followed by JELEE's performance, which was filled with the blue glow of penlights. The event ended with an acoustic live performance of "Kanoelana". Takahashi Rie, the voice actress for the series, came to support the "JELEE" live performance.

Furthermore, the provision of AR content and an experience platform through the spatial layering platform "STYLY" has made it possible to realize a new way of enjoying traditional live music events using the latest technology.
■AIR RACE X 2024 SHIBUYA Digital Round
A public viewing event for the 2024 "AIR RACE X" series finale, the "Shibuya Digital Round," was held on Saturday, October 19th at Shibuya Sakura Stage 404 Not Found in Miyashita Park, Shibuya Ward. Japanese pilot Yoshihide Muroya and Emma McDonald, the first female pilot of AIR RACE X, came to Japan from Australia to participate in the viewing event at Miyashita Park.
After the public viewing ended, the awards ceremony for the "Shibuya Digital Round" and the ceremony to crown the first champion of the "AIR RACE X" series were held, and the talk session that followed ended in a fun atmosphere.
■TOKYO FM Listener Appreciation Festival in Shibuya Music Festival 2024
TOKYO FM, which enjoys support from a wide range of generations, and Shibuya Music Festival 2024 have teamed up to hold the "TOKYO FM Listener Appreciation Festival in Shibuya Music Festival 2024" for two days at LINE CUBE SHIBUYA, Shibuya Ward Chatan Park, and Shibuya Sakura Stage. At LINE CUBESHIBUYA, "TOKYO FM LIVE INCLUSION SHIBUYA" was held on Saturday, October 19th, and "Wide Program Personality Gathering Special!" and "NISSAN Ah, Abe Reiji ~Beyond the Average~ Live Broadcast Special!" were held on Sunday, October 20th, and public recordings of each program, talk events, original goods sales, and stamp rallies were also held.

■Shibuya Modi collaboration event "SHIBUYA MODI MUSIC FES."
A total of four artists performed over two days at the Shibuya Modi 1F Storefront Plaza. On the 19th (Sat), it was "Rough x Rough" and "SHARE LOCK HOMES". On the 20th (Sun), "XY-Dance&Vocal-" and "AMEFURASSHI" (XY-Dance&Vocal- only performed live) held a mini live and a special event where you could interact with the artists.
■Metro Cultural Foundation "Station Concert in Shibuya"
The Station Concert in Shibuya was held. On the 19th (Sat), the Saxophone Quintet "Five by Five" and on the 20th (Sun), the woodwind quintet "London Point" performed a variety of wonderful pieces at Shibuya Station, delivering the excitement of "live music" to everyone who uses the station.
■~SHIBUYA109 L♡VE MUSIC FES ~Dress up for art and music~
SHIBUYA109 is celebrating its 45th anniversary this year, and held the anniversary event "SHIBUYA109 L♡VE MUSIC FES ~Dress up for art and music~", which combined fashion, music, and art, for two days on October 19th (Sat) and 20th (Sun) at MAGNET by SHIBUYA109 rooftop event space "MAG's PARK" and "SHIBUYA SCRAMBLE S" on the 7th floor.
In addition to live performances by stellar artists including f5ve, UN1CON, Ashley, Charlu, MANON, DJ KAORI, and N² (Kyundesu), the audience's dress code brought the Shibuya Music Festival 2024 to a close with a fantastic event that fused 1980s disco with modern Shibuya style.
