About Moshimo Project
This project was launched in March 2021, 10 years after the Great East Japan Earthquake. Sponsored by three organizations: Shibuya City Tourism Association, Future Design Shibuya, and Kokumin Kyosai coop <Zenrosai>. If an earthquake directly hits the Tokyo metropolitan area, it is predicted that many transportation systems will stop, about 5 million people will be unable to return home, about 3 million people will be evacuated, and there will be food shortages. In addition, it is said that 75% of people stop thinking and are unable to take appropriate actions due to the occurrence of unexpected disasters. [Kokumin Mutual Aid coop <Zenrosai>]

Official name: National Federation of Workers Mutual Aid Co-operative Associations
Established in September 1957 as a collaborative co-op. “Mutual aid” is a mechanism that “prepares for someone’s emergency by helping each other”. While the environment surrounding us is changing dramatically, such as the declining birthrate and aging society and the occurrence of large-scale disasters, the Kokumin Kyosai coop aims to create a prosperous and secure society by helping each other through the concept and mechanism of "Tasukeai". We will continue to walk together with all of you.
