Co-sponsored with "Metaverse Japan" (hereafter MVJ), a large-scale conference event of "Regional Revitalization x Metaverse" for the Web3 era as the first step for Japan to embark on a new frontier in the digital economy. Empowerment Summit 2023 presented by Metaverse Japan” will be held on Thursday, February 2, 2023 at Shibuya Stream Hall.

A program of “theme sessions” where experts exchange discussions based on themes such as education, medical care, SDGs, tourism, sports, etc., and the local government lightning pitch “interactive sessions” called industrial multiverse and communication verse that fuse real and virtual. announced the first round of speakers.

In the theme sessions, in addition to themes such as education, medical care, SDGs, tourism, and sports, we also realized a program in which key persons from three telecommunications companies took the stage and discussed the future of the Metaverse as seen from telecommunications carriers. In the interactive session, 14 sessions will be held to introduce case studies of community development using the Metaverse that makes use of regional characteristics, such as the Snow Festival and the Metacarp.

About Japan Empowerment Summit 2023

Discussions over the future and use cases of the Metaverse in the Web3 era are rising not only in Japan, but also around the world. Looking ahead to 2023, the evolution of VR devices and the entertainment field have already begun to make great strides, and beyond that, along with the evolution of technology, there will be an industrial multiverse that fuses the real and the virtual, and an education called the communication verse. , medical care, SDGs, tourism, and sports are expected to be implemented in society.
