Press release

The Shibuya Idea Conference "SOCIAL INNOVATION WEEK SHIBUYA 2022" (hereinafter referred to as SIW) will be held from November 8th (Tuesday) to 13th (Sunday), where conferences and experience programs will be held as "6 days in Shibuya, where you can come in contact with ideas." It will be held.
This year, the 5th year of the conference, the themes of "Culture Design," "Beyond Digital," and "Women Leading" will be set for the three days of the conference. create

On November 10th, the third day of the conference, 17 programs will be held under the theme of "Women Leading."

In modern society, the world has moved powerfully with various social systems built on male-centered thinking and leadership. As we enter the 21st century, we are shifting to creating a flexible society that respects diversity. In recent years, this trend has become commonplace, but this path is by no means an easy one, and there are still challenges.

~Respect Is Knowing~Learn from those who "know" the journey so far, and from that "learning", "new discoveries" that can be a "shortcut" on this long road will be spun to a "new generation". The reverse is also true, "learning" "obvious" from "new generation" ...

In SIW2022 "Women Leading", "respect" born from diverse perspectives, "new ideas" and "empathy" born from respect, and "supporting each other" will accelerate it to a "natural" world. create a day In other words, we will challenge a thought experiment to reexamine the social system from the "women's perspective" and "decentralized".

"Culture Design", "Beyond Digital", other conference programs, additional programs and experience programs for Shibuya Idea Conference will be announced at a later date.

Please look forward to SIW2022, which has evolved into an idea platform.

Smart Drinking – creating a new drink culture that everyone can enjoy
There are opportunities to drink alcohol, but you may not be aware of the appropriate amount of drinking and the effects of alcohol that women tend to drink. In order for us to live a long, healthy and prosperous life, "Sumadori = Smart Drinking": When you want to drink, when you can't, and when you dare not drink, people who drink and people who don't drink We need a society in which each and every individual can smartly choose the appropriate liquor or non-alcoholic drink according to their constitution, mood, and occasion. During the alcohol-related issue awareness week (November 10th to 16th) set by the Ministry of Health, Labor and Welfare, this session will focus on unconscious bias, well-being, and diversity toward an era where you can smartly choose appropriate alcohol and non-alcoholic drinks. With this as a keyword, we will think about smart drinking culture and lifestyles from the perspective of generation Z who have started to associate with alcohol, people who can drink alcohol and people who can not drink alcohol, and diverse perspectives unique to Shibuya.
At the venue, we will conduct an alcohol patch test that allows you to easily know your own predisposition to alcohol.
