Future Design Shibuya was established in 2018 as an industry-government-academia-civil collaboration organization that designs solutions and possibilities for social issues through open innovation, and has entered its fifth term. This fiscal year, 104 partner companies and organizations (as of July 1, 2022) will participate in 8 businesses and 13 projects.
In addition, we welcomed Mr. Haruyuki Seki, the representative director of Code for Japan, a general incorporated association, as a future designer who advises businesses from a variety of perspectives and creates added value. Regarding the secretariat system, Mr. Shin Sawada, deputy mayor of Shibuya Ward, will be appointed as a director and will strengthen cooperation with Shibuya Ward.
We will continue to develop activities that create the diverse values of Shibuya and disseminate them both domestically and internationally.
