Supporting live entertainment by converting the concert hall to DX

Stu Co., Ltd. (Location: Shibuya-ku, Tokyo, President: Takayasu Kuroda, hereafter stu), KDDI Corporation (Headquarters: Chiyoda-ku, Tokyo, President: Makoto Takahashi, hereafter KDDI), Future Design Shibuya (Location: Shibuya-ku, Tokyo, Representative Director: Hideki Koizumi, hereinafter Future Design Shibuya), NHK Enterprise Co., Ltd. (Location: Shibuya-ku, Tokyo, President: Koji Matsumoto, hereinafter NEP) is November 8, 2021 From, at LINE CUBE SHIBUYA (Shibuya Public Hall), we will start a demonstration experiment (hereinafter referred to as this demonstration experiment) of a wireless video shooting system that replaces the camera wiring for video shooting with local 5G (Note).
The four companies will continue to work on reducing operating costs and DX concert halls in order to continue to provide live entertainment even in situations where sales are declining due to corona sickness.
As a consortium led by stu, this demonstration experiment was submitted to the Ministry of Internal Affairs and Communications "Development Demonstration for Realization of Problem-Solving Local 5G, etc. It was adopted on August 31, 2021 as "Building a wireless video recording system in Japan".

Sales of live entertainment at Corona Saga fell sharply due to a decrease in the number of performances and restrictions on the number of mobilized guests. On the other hand, the cost of setting up equipment is fixed regardless of the number of performances and the number of mobilized customers, so it is necessary to secure profits by lowering operating costs while sales such as Corona are declining. It has become. In this demonstration experiment, at LINE CUBE SHIBUYA (Shibuya Public Hall), a live performance using a wireless camera that transmits video in local 5G for the purpose of cost reduction required for operation and verification of utilization in the local 5G concert hall. We will verify the video recording system for the event. In addition to verifying the usefulness of local 5G in concert halls where various radios such as musical instruments and audio equipment are used, new use cases such as online distribution by establishing a video shooting system that enables low-cost, high-quality setup. We aim to build an environment where we can continuously secure profits even in situations where sales are declining due to corona damage.
This demonstration experiment will be conducted at LINE CUBE SHIBUYA, which has been loved by many people for many years in Shibuya, the birthplace of culture, and has transmitted a variety of cultures and arts to a wide range of generations. In addition to the cooperation of Shibuya Ward, which owns LINE CUBE SHIBUYA, we will also collaborate with KDDI and the "Shibuya 5G Entertainment Project" centered on Future Design Shibuya, aiming for LINE CUBE SHIBUYA to play a role as a next-generation hall. , We will contribute to the transmission of Shibuya, a city of creative culture.
