The Tamagawa Josui Old Waterway Green Road has been undergoing a redevelopment plan since 2017 as a project of Shibuya Ward. Currently, we are doing the basic design while incorporating the opinions of the local people. The Tamagawa Johsui Old Waterway Green Road is centered around the redevelopment concept of "FARM," where everyone in the community can enjoy food and living, and anyone from children to adults, regardless of age or disability, can participate. It's about to be reborn as a place. The redevelopment concept "FARM" has two meanings, "farming" and "growing".
Machi Lab is an organization jointly established by Shibuya Ward, Keio Electric Railway Co., Ltd., and Future Design Shibuya in July 2020. Taking the initials of Sasazuka Station, Hatagaya Station, and Hatsudai Station on the Keio Line, we are conducting activities to make the area called "Sasahatahatsu" an attractive city for all people involved in the area, including local residents. increase. As part of these activities, Machi Lab will hold an experimental event called "388 FARM β" (Sasahatahatsu Farm Beta) that embodies the concept of redevelopment of the Tamagawa Johsui Old Waterway Green Road, which will be redeveloped in the future. "Β" indicates that it is incomplete and in the process of development, and this initiative indicates that it is an experiment for future living.
At 388 FARM β, we will create new regional connections and exchanges through agriculture, art, education, Marche, etc., and foster a new community that has never existed before. As a place for children to learn, as a place where individual ideas can be put into shape, as a place to support various challenges, various experiments will be conducted from now on toward the realization of the future life of Sasahatahatsu, where each person's life will be colored. I will continue.
First of all, as a 388 Marche that solves social and regional issues related to agriculture, food and community, the citizen co-creation project "Sasahapi" certified and registered by Marche and Machi Lab, which can directly connect with producers.
