Turn the entire building into street art

A group art show that fills a building with street art

A group art show is being held until December 25th (Sunday), where the entire building that has been decided to be demolished is filled with street art, near the intersection in front of Jingumae where Omotesando and Meiji-dori meet in the center of Harajuku.
In this project, Future Design Shibuya collaborated with the art & culture free magazine "HIDDEN CHAMPION", and a mural painting of the inner wall and outer wall of the building that Future Design Shibuya used as an office until just last month and a part of the Olympia Annex that is also scheduled to be demolished. It is an attempt to color with (mural).

Although it was used as an office, it was originally a private house, so a different space full of power was created, filled with mural paintings by artists who are active in various fields, including toilets, kitchens, and rooms.

None of the murals can be taken out of this building, which is a valuable opportunity to see without visiting during the period. Please take a look at the ephemeral works that will disappear with the building after the exhibition.

About pop & street -AN ANNUAL 2019

Group show with about 60 participants, decided to be held in 2019

The art & culture magazine "HIDDEN CHAMPION" and the "Seibu Shibuya store", which has introduced pop art and street art to Japan since the 1980s, are the year-end annual group art exhibition "pop & street -AN ANNUAL 2019". Will be held jointly this year as well. The venues will be "Seibu Shibuya B Building 8th Floor Art Gallery" and "WAG GALLERY" and "JOINT Harajuku" in the Harajuku area. Furthermore, as an "ANNEX special venue" this year, many artists will paint their works directly on the inner walls of the 2nd to 4th floors of the building near the intersection of Meiji-dori and Omotesando. We will introduce a lot of works from artists who are currently active to up-and-coming artists who are expected in the future.
