[Introduction]
The original work is an app game called "Project Sekai Colorful Stage! feat. Hatsune Miku" (abbreviated as "ProSeka"), which tells the story of boys and girls finding their "true feelings" and "their own song" in the setting of "Shibuya", a city with a thriving subculture centered around music, and the mysterious space "Sekai" where people's "true feelings" are reflected, and also features virtual singers such as Hatsune Miku.
In this work, a new Hatsune Miku who does not appear in the game meets the characters of "Project Sekai" and grows as a person, in a completely original story created by animation studio PAWORKS.

[Synopsis]
"Tell me about yourself. Then maybe I'll understand the song."
Ichika Hoshino hears a Miku song she has never heard before at a CD shop. She spots a "Hatsune Miku" on the monitor, in a form she has never seen before, and blurts out, "Miku!?" Miku is surprised by the voice, and although she makes eye contact with Ichika, she disappears shortly after.
Later, after finishing her street performance, Miku, whom she had seen before, appears on Ichika's smartphone. As Miku looks down sadly, Ichika gently asks her what she has to say. She tells her that there are people she wants to reach with her songs, but no matter how much she sings, her songs never reach them. Seeing Ichika reach the hearts of many people with her live performance, Miku thinks that if she gets to know her, she can do the same, so she comes to Ichika. Ichika smiles and answers Miku's wish, "If you don't mind me," and so a new story begins for Hatsune Miku and the boys and girls.
