The facility that serves as the base will open on August 2, 2021 in Udagawa-cho, Shibuya, just near the Shibuya Ward Office.
To commemorate this, a dialogue was held between Chinatsu Wakatsuki (Future Design Shibuya Future Designer), a talent who was reappointed as a child-rearing Neubora Ambassador in Shibuya Ward after a two-year term from 2019, and Ken Hasebe, Mayor of Shibuya Ward. I did.

The entrance, which has a characteristic large staircase, also has a good view of the inside of the facility, so it's easy to enter with an open feeling.

"Neubora" is a concept that started in Finland, and I actually visit Finland and refer to it in various ways. The atmosphere of this facility surrounded by trees. The tree here uses cedar from Odate City, Akita Prefecture, the hometown of Hachiko.

The warmth of this tree is easy to come by. There is a welcome feeling that people who want to talk to will feel free to go. There is also a children's playground.
I hope it will be a place where not only babies and small children can play, but also elementary school students can easily stop by after school.

Recently, I often go to Daikanyama Teens Creative. I play scientific experiments there and play very creatively. The instructors who teach me are all famous professionals, and I think it's wonderful to be in such an environment from a young age. I'm surprised that such a thing is normal. But that's unique to Shibuya Ward.

For example, a sandbox or a group of people from the child-rearing generation can be rented out and played as a huge sandbox. As an ambassador, I would like you to create a project that uses not only Neubora but also the city of Shibuya.

As a mother, I often get together and talk with other parents at various events, but I think the important point is that "my opinion is not everything." For example, there are people who have various opinions about whether or not to open the school playground on Saturdays and Sundays due to the corona. I try to raise my child while respecting the people around me so that I don't think my opinion is absolute. It is kindness to think that your child is not the only child, and that your child is like your own, which is important in parenting. I think it fits in with the Neubora concept.

Shibuya is also a city where you come to play, but I would like to convey more widely that it is a very comfortable city to live in.
