What is required in times of disaster is the Reiwa-era gyarumind? Tips for Aggressive Behavior to Stay Well-Being in Times of Disaster
In the talk session, first of all, they talked about their awareness of disaster prevention.
Looking back on his experience of working in Fukushima, which was severely damaged by the Great East Japan Earthquake, Mr. Kawamoto said, ``At that time, of course, I had no preparations for disasters, nor did I have any knowledge about them. I thought that it was really a problem that it was not prepared like this.I think it is important to be prepared so that we can contact you in the event of a disaster, especially because I could not contact my family." I was.
In addition, Mr. Kawamoto, who showed the recognition that it is necessary to be prepared for when disasters can occur at any time, said:
“We tend to think that disasters may not happen in our lives, but they do happen. And even if they do happen, the environment will be completely different between Kobe and Fukushima, and now. That's why it's important to be aware of disaster prevention and predict what will happen if a disaster strikes right now."
On the other hand, Mr. Bubbly looked back on the recent fires that happened close to him, although he himself has never experienced a large-scale disaster.
“When the building in Shibuya where my office was located caught fire, even though the siren sounded, no one tried to run away and continued to work calmly. However, I learned that in times like these, people are surprisingly unable to move.It may be because they haven't had much experience with disasters that they think, 'It's not a big deal anyway.'"
In response, Mr. Kawamoto said, "At first, I didn't think that the Great East Japan Earthquake would be such a large-scale disaster. It may be better to think that it may be large." In addition, Ms. Bubbly said, "It is one of the disaster countermeasures that you can do by yourself to prepare a disaster prevention bag and a portable toilet at home on a regular basis."
In the talk session, opinions were exchanged on the support that one can provide when a disaster occurs. Ms. Kawamoto, who provided assistance in Fukushima, looks back on her experience at that time and explains the need to be prepared to have fun.
“When I was in evacuation, I was living in the same environment all the time, and I was worried that this would continue forever, so I needed something fun. Also, after the Kumamoto earthquake, I taught everyone how to play kendama, which I like, and asked my friends to create an environment where they could play kendama even after that. We need to prepare now to have fun in preparation for disasters.”
Ms. Bubbly, who visited Fukushima this year, expressed her recognition that she should not shy away from local support just because she has no connection with the local area. I don't know what I can do in the context of entertainment, but I want to do what I can."
In addition, Mr. Kawamoto is also working on activities to promote the safety of timber from Fukushima, which has been damaged by rumors in the wake of the earthquake, by using kendama made from zelkova trees produced in Fukushima. It is said that it is important to continue such dissemination in the future. Ms. Bubbly, who agrees, also said, "The role of creating connections with the local area and delivering them to other places will also support the disaster area."
Furthermore, when the topic of women's wellness came up, Ms. Kawamoto said that she had supported her partner until now, but she said, "What kind of changes will occur in my partner's body in his 50s and 60s? And as a supporter, I would like to know how I should feel."
On the other hand, from the standpoint of a woman, Ms. Bubbly points out that what she wants the opposite sex to understand is that "women change their moods during menstruation." He said:
“All the members of my company are gyaru, so there is a strong wave.
In the talk session, Mr. Kawamoto, who is a man, and Ms. Bubbly, who has a gal mind, also talked about the possibility of working together in the future.
"It's very important for Japanese women to act aggressively themselves. It would be great if we men could support that," said Ms. Kawamoto.
Ms. Bubbly said, "Rather than receiving support, I want to work with men. In Reiwa, gyaru is truly genderless. That's why I want everyone to have a gyaru mind that can move aggressively. If you do that, disaster will happen. He should be able to become a leader by inciting condemnation with a loud voice at times." In response, Osada also said, "I want people with such a mindset to emerge from both men and women."
Lastly, looking back on this talk session, he said, "If you prepare kendama and other things that you can enjoy and share with others, you can communicate with someone even when you are criticized. Making such preparations on a regular basis is a disaster. It's very important as a countermeasure," says Kawamoto. Ms. Bubbly said, "No matter what kind of disaster happens, I want you to keep your self-centeredness, intuition, and positive gal mind regardless of gender."
Disasters can happen to anyone at any time. That's why it's necessary to think about what you can do when a disaster strikes so that you can be well-being even in times of disaster. It was a talk session where I could realize such things again.
