"Current state of urban disaster prevention" as seen by the Moshimo Project
Regarding urban disaster prevention, we will use the city of Shibuya to divide the phases into peacetime, disaster occurrence, and post-disaster time series, and to divide the attributes of ward residents, people who work in Shibuya, people who visit Shibuya, and layers of healthy people and people with special needs. However, we have not yet been able to approach urban disaster prevention from the perspective of the Moshimo Project, which aims to raise awareness and take action on disaster prevention and mitigation, think about what might happen, and take steps to prepare for it. The session will focus on the issues that will be addressed.

"School of the Future"
It has been six months since Shibuya Ward public schools switched to "inquiry learning" in the afternoon. How can "inquiry learning" help children's futures? How can students find their own "inquiry themes"? "Inquiry learning" is said to be a "going back and forth" between "knowing" and "creating." How can technology contribute to "creation and exploration"? In August this year, a workshop was held at Shibuya Ward Office for elementary and junior high school students on "lyric writing" using AI and "song writing" using singing synthesis technology. Based on the results of this workshop, we will discuss the nature of comprehensive learning that encourages children to learn voluntarily.

How will the ability to "write songs" help children in the future?
How do teenagers around the world come into contact with and learn about music? How does learning music contribute to children's development? Based on a report from the "Let's try making an original song with Vocaloid!" trial event held in August, this session will use case studies to discuss music as a catalyst for "knowing yourself, knowing others and the world" that is expanded by "making songs," and the effectiveness of "studying music" as a connection to Western music education and local communities and social sciences.

How to find a research theme: What is the trigger and environmental design?
It is difficult to find a "research theme" in life. There are various levels of research themes, from vague interests that quickly disappear to solid concepts that remain unchanged for years. What kind of space is suitable for "research" and stimulates children's intellectual curiosity? Also, what kind of support and environmental design is needed to pursue that curiosity as a "question"? Based on the "Trial Session at CELL" held in August, we will discuss the topic with examples from Japan and abroad.

"School of the Future" - How can technology contribute to "creativity and exploration"?
It has been half a year since public schools in Shibuya Ward switched to "inquiry learning" in the afternoon. "Inquiry learning" is said to be a "go-round" between "knowing" and "creating." How do each child's "questions" come about in this process? Also, how can technology contribute to the process of "knowing," "generating questions," and "creating"? This discussion will be based on reports from the trial sessions held in August on "song writing using Vocaloid" and "collaborative songwriting using AI."
