Supporting the sophistication of street sports through au 5G
Future Design Shibuya Co., Ltd., together with KDDI Corporation, will use the "Shibuya 5G Entertainment Project" from December 6th to 20th, 2020 at the skateboard attached to Shibuya Ward Miyashita Park to support 5G smartphones. We will install multiple units, shoot the performance of skaters from various angles, and conduct a demonstration experiment of a service that provides the shot images (hereinafter referred to as this demonstration experiment).
In this demonstration experiment, six 5G-compatible smartphones were installed as shooting cameras at the skateboard in Miyashita Park, Shibuya Ward, and the shot multi-viewpoint video was uploaded over a 5G line and combined on a server to create a single original video. You can download it as.
In addition, you can enjoy the performance image of the subject itself by automatically recognizing and extracting the subject from the image of each viewpoint by the behavior recognition AI technology provided by KDDI R & D Laboratories.
In addition, for the purpose of promoting street sports and enlightening sports manners in Shibuya Ward, we will participate in cooperation with the "Next Generations" project, which develops various activities centered on young U-15 (junior high school students and younger) throughout the year, aiming to become a top athlete. Next Generations is a year-round project for young U-15s (junior high school students and younger) with the aim of promoting street sports and enlightening manners. Based on the implementation of the street sports competition, we are comprehensively developing experience events and school business.
Street sports have learning that is different from the educational context such as physical education and club activities. You can learn the culture by learning the rules of society in the community and touching the scene. By promoting street sports, we will create learning places in towns and parks and give children new discoveries.
